MARKETING AND PROMOTION

The section coordinates and performs marketing and related activities. The employees prepare the marketing strategy, perform market research, develop products and services; they are in charge of price policy, selling, advertising, promotion and public relations. Museums are non-profit institutions by definition, but marketing and promotion sections has the task to create greater profit and diminish the financial dependence of the institution on its founder, in alignment with the recommendations of the International Council of Museums.
